USG Imperial® Veneer Basecoat is a high-strength veneer basecoat designed for two-coat application over a gypsum base on interior walls and ceilings.

Its special formulation, combined with USG Imperial® Veneer Plaster, produces a hard, abrasion-resistant surface with compressive strength of 3000 lb/sq inch. USG Imperial® Veneer Basecoat can be applied by machine or hand and provide the ultimate in performance and aesthetics.
