Subject: Transportation Surcharge starting May 1, 2026

We make every effort to control and contain our costs, however, due to inflation impact in fuel, transportation, operations, and raw materials we will be implementing a Transportation Surcharge across Canada on all zones effective May 1, 2026. The surcharge will be applied on invoices as a separate line-item effective May 1, 2026.

A Transportation Surcharge of $350/TL will be applied on Insulation Products (Batt, Loosefill, Basement Blanket, and Membrain) Zone’s 2, 3, 4 etc. will have incremental charges applied to the base rate. Zone’s will follow the current territory assignments as identified in CertainTeed’s service charters.

To address the likelihood of increased product demand prior to the surcharge, CertainTeed Insulation reserves the right to regulate shipments prior to implementation (reflecting regular monthly buying habits), ensuring equal opportunity to all our customers.
