Mar 02, 2026

Date: December 23rd, 2025

Dear valued customer:

Steel prices in Canada are currently volatile, influenced by evolving trade policies and supply chain adjustments. The government is also implementing new measures to protect the domestic steel industry, including reduced tariff rate quotas for non-FTA partners and a 25% tariff on certain imported steel derivative products effective December 26, 2025.

The combination of limited US market access (which has negatively impacted mill production output, sales and profitability), combined with reduced import steel measures have contributed to ArcelorMittal Dofasco and Stelco’s recent implementation of price increases (around $300/ton) effective immediately.

As a result, DCM Metal Corp. is announcing a 15% price increase on all products delivered on or after Monday March 2, 2026.

We will continue to keep you informed of any developments. If you have any questions, please contact your DCM Metal representative. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
